AEM Capitol Art Show Information

AEM Capital Art Show 2008
Sunday, February 24th
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
State Capital Rotunda
Awards Ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
YAM Flag Contest Winner and runners up presented with a plaque and
certificates.
Spotlight Award Winner presented with a plaque.
Certificates of Participation presented to all students exhibiting. Art Teachers, Parents, Students, Public Invited Refreshments/cake served

Before you enter:

• You must currently be an AEM Member!
• You may only enter 2 student artworks per “member”
• Matted size is not to exceed 14” x 20”
• Punch holes at the top on each side for hanging
• No 3-dimensional work of any type is displayed at the Capitol (no place to display)
• You must deliver and pick up the work or mail with return

       postage included.  No checks please- this causes delays!
        Submitting the work:

• Submit work by mail for the AEM Capitol Art Show to:

• Complete the Capitol Art Show Entry form and make two additional copies (one for yourself/ include the second in your package/attach the third to the back of the artwork).

• Make certain all information is complete and correct – certificates and programs will only be as accurate as the information you give us.

• Artwork must be mailed to the above address by February 1st at 4:00pm. If you are mailing, allow additional time for delivery. If you are delivering work, bring it to the main office at IDDS. Make certain work is wrapped and protected from the elements.

• The entry form is an attachment on this page. After we receive your entries, you’ll be mailed confirmation along with postcards/posters to give to your students entered.  We will also include a press release containing information about the Exhibit and Reception.
