March is Youth Art Month (YAM), but you can celebrate it every month of the year!
AEM sponsors the State Capitol Art Exhibit featuring fine student artwork from across the state. This year the exhibit will be March 7th-March 20th. AEM also sponsors the state YAM flag competition. The winning design is made into a full sized flag that is displayed with other state YAM flags at the NAEA convention and at the annual flag event in Washington D.C.
This years competition is open to Middle School students. The winner will be recognized at the YAM Capitol Exhibit Reception.
AEM members should record your 2010 YAM observance activities in your school, district or community. You may download the form below.
