Message from the President, Deb Hannu:
Welcome to the website of Art Educators of Minnesota. AEM has been serving art educators throughout the state for over fifty years. We strive to provide quality professional development opportunities through our annual fall conferences and regional workshops. AEM keeps members current on art education issues in Minnesota and serves to advocate for them. AEM members enjoy the benefits of belonging to the National Art Education Association, which provides abundant resources for art educators. I hope you find our website useful. Vision:
Nurturing the creative spirit in visual art educators and students.

Mission:
Promote and advocate quality art education for all learners through networking, sharing and collaborating with local, state, and national resources and provide information and professional growth opportunities for all art educators of Minnesota.

Purpose:
Art Educators of Minnesota (AEM) is a professional organization dedicated to promote and protect the professional interests and concerns of art educators at all levels.

AEM fosters leadership in art education and informs its members about current trends and issues.

AEM brings its members together to share ideas and information through conferences and informal gatherings within regions.

Additionally AEM promotes art education in our schools through legislative advocacy.
