Minnesota State Standards for the Arts

AEM believes standards are good for art education and all areas of learning.

The arts are one of the five core learning areas both at the national level and within our state.

For information and assistance regarding the arts standards, the Perpich Center for Arts Education, in collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Education, provides the most current and reliable assistance available to help develop standards-aligned, K-12 curriculum and assessment. Services are available, free of charge, in any arts area, to any resident in the state of Minnesota.
